what is the download button for?

in the com-screen there is a button

when you press it, you download the actual com-list to your computer and must save it in your
game-path.
your game-path is to be selected in your preferences screen.
the standard path is
file://C:gamesspacetrace

this way you can access your com list very fast, after you downloaded it.

(certainly you must renew it every time you log in)

it is like this now:
when you switch to the downloaded mode, you'll get another option in your com-screen:
you can search through your list with another center and show only planets that are within a certain radius.

what do you think about this?

sorry, but it`s still quite buggy, i think it only works in some versions of internet explorer.

maybe someone has experience with this kind of problems wit "iframes" ?

this option is default for internet-explorer 6.0 if you have more than 40 links in your list, but you can still turn it off.
you have to assure, that the screen, you save in your game path is called ".html" at the end, then it works
if it doesent work, please report the problem here maybe then we have to change that back.
